Hi, I’m Rachael Pontillo.
I help women reclaim their skin, sense of Self, and world so they can love who they are and live their lives.
10 Questions You Need to Ask About Your Skincare Brand
I was nervous that creating skincare would be too complicated. I was blown away at how easy Rachael makes it for her students to create without frustration and in a relaxed way. She lays everything out with detailed, easy to follow steps. One of my favorite things about the program is that Rachael is so hands on. I feel like I have launched a spa experience right in my own home. I cannot recommend this program enough! Anyone who is fed up with trying to find ways to have beautiful skin, needs to look no further. Rachael has you covered!Abby Mason
I remember being a young teenager—about 13 years old—feeling that feeling you get when you know someone’s staring. I looked over and the girl next to me was indeed staring. “What?” I asked. She responded, “Nothing.” And then looked away. But then I looked back her way and again, met her eyes. She was still staring. In my mind and heart, I knew she was staring at my zits. I’d seen other girls point and giggle in the girls’ room. I’d heard what they said about me. In my mind I could still feel her staring, long after I’d passed her by. Staring, judging.
This conversation happened many times from my adolescent years all the way into my early 30s. Sometimes it happened out loud with another person, but more often it happened in my own mind, between me and my own reflection.
My parents, teachers, and doctors told me “Don’t worry, you’ll grow out of it.” But I didn’t—my breakouts continued into my thirties.
Of course I learned to cover my blemishes with makeup, but I could still see the acne underneath. I could still feel it. I still knew it was there and those conversations in my mind continued. And even after it finally improved, I still felt flawed and insecure–and anytime I’d see someone staring at me, I’d immediately feel the same feelings of shame and embarrassment. Even though the acne was physically long gone.
While I was living with the constant challenge of adult acne, I also struggled with post-baby weight gain, which did even more of a number on my self-confidence. Before I gained the weight, constantly treating and covering up the acne and hating my reflection just become a part of my daily routine. But I always told myself “at least I have a great body.” Not being able to lose the weight with diets and products being sold to me by advertisements, celebrities, trainers, and doctors was the final blow—and it was a wakeup call that clearly what I was being sold had nothing to do with what my body actually needed.
Enough is enough.
I took a long, honest look at myself and realized that since my body didn’t respond to conventional products, fad diets, or generic advice, I’d have to take matters into my own hands.
I also realized that it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself and believing that there was something wrong with me. I took action and began to research skin and nutrition. I went back to school for my aesthetics license, and Integrative Nutrition® Health Coaching certification and gained knowledge that contradicted pretty much everything I had ever been told or sold about nutrition.
I also started studying metaphysics which led me to understand that there’s nothing flawed about me, because I come from the same source that created everything else that exists in perfection in nature and this Universe. I’m a part of it and it’s a part of me; and as perfect as the smoothest petal is on the reddest rose, so perfect am I.
Once I embraced that, the other stuff fell right into place. I changed my diet, began making my own skincare products, and upgraded just about every area of my lifestyle because I knew I was worth it. I was able to reclaim my skin, the self I thought I’d lost, and change my whole world.
After just a month of making simple changes to my diet and mindset, I began to lose weight and my skin cleared up completely. I lost 80 pounds after 18 months and have kept it off for more than 5 years now. I’m not afraid of the acne or the weight coming back because now I know how to give my skin, body, and spirit what it needs—and I’m not afraid to look in the mirror because I truly love and honor the strong woman looking back.
When I began my coaching practice and saw the same results happen for client after client, I realized that my experience was no fluke—this stuff works, and I believe it’s my life’s work. For years, I’ve devoted my career to helping other women take their skin, health, and lives back into their own hands, and free themselves from negative thought processes like self-sabotage, inadequacy, and low self-confidence.
After just a couple months of working with Rachael and using her customized products, my blemishes cleared mostly and my skin started looking healthy! I had spent years torturing my skin with harsh chemicals that it was so inflamed, red and oily. I’m happy to know I am also “feeding” my skin now.Jessie Lewis
Rachael is so warm, understanding, and encouraging; I couldn’t ask for anything more in a coach. She knows how to ask just the right questions to help me uncover exactly what it is that’s holding me back from my dreams. Choosing her as my coach was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.Jaimie Edmunds
But I’m not going to stop there…
and that’s because, quite frankly, I’m pissed off!
What started out being about skincare has become about so much more.
I know that there are still millions of women out there who feel ugly, flawed, and less than perfect. Women who long for the feeling of being cared for and nurtured, but don’t feel deserving of self-care or self-love.
Too many women suffer with low self-image, lack of confidence, and self-loathing, and it’s got to stop. And I’m fed up that the entertainment, food, healthcare, and cosmetics industries aren’t doing enough to help them. In fact, by selling them products made with unhealthy chemical ingredients and toxins, and creating unhealthy and unrealistic images in pop culture, these industries are not only making matters worse–they’re stifling the collective female spirit.
Well, no more. The time has come for us women to take it all back–to reclaim our spirit, our beauty, our skin, ourselves, our lives. The time to be strong and soft, warriors and healers, mothers and lovers, CEOs and dreamers.
I was able to heal my skin, body, and spirit–and reclaim my sovereignty–when I took matters into my own hands. Since then, I’ve lived each day with confidence, empowerment, and as an embodied, powerful female role model to my own daughters, and other women and girls. I can help you do the same.
I’ve Created the Skin-Self Mastery Method
A simple, step-by-step process that meets you where you’re at, and gives you benefits you can touch, see, and feel at each stage, as you start to look and feel the way you want and deserve to.
The Skin-Self Mastery Method shows you how to:
- Figure out which foods make your body thrive and which make you wither
- Take a look at your skincare and self-care regimen and see where both little tweaks and big upgrades can make the biggest impact in the least amount of time
- Reboot your lifestyle and mindset—because let’s be honest–we all need an attitude adjustment from time to time, and we all have some bad habits to lose.
These stages don’t necessarily happen in order or begin when one ends—your process is as unique as you are, and you begin stages when the time is right for you. My role is to help reveal your path and guide you as you walk it.
Now, I want to help you.

I do what I do because I believe that women are the future. Women will heal this planet. Women will heal humanity—and until more women have the confidence, self-worth, and ability to realize their full potential, it’s not gonna happen. It all starts with having the ability to love and honor the person in the mirror—and healing the skin is the first step.
